Whether your table is small and spare or large and abundant…
Whether your dreams were thwarted or realized this year…
Whether you have found, are still looking, or have said goodbye to the love of your life…
Whether your bank account is empty or filling, strained or recovering…
Whether you can count your friends on one hand or need a calculator…
Whether hope is faint or glowing at your house…
Let us give thanks!
Because
giving thanks
changes us
and has the power
to change those around us.
May your Thanksgiving be filled to overflowing with creative ideas
and reasons to give thanks.
Grateful for you,

Across this vast benighted land,
things are still real murky,
but, my friend, please understand,
I’m glad I’m not a turkey.
And Christmas, soon it will be here,
and if I get to choose,
I’d like to make it awful clear
that I’m glad I’m not a goose.
Luau season’s just ahead,
post-COVID, thinking big,
so time and yet again I’ve said
I’m glad I’m not a pig.
But if there’s one thing left for pickin’,
I’m glad I’m no Kentucky chicken.
Happy Thanksgiving, y’all!
